10th Anniversary

My Husband and I took a trip down PCH for our 10th wedding anniversary. Our little slice of heaven we found was La Jolla, CA We had been there before but had stayed in a big stuffy hotel and just gazed at the beach from afar. This time we chose to mix it up with the locals, and mix it up, we did! We stayed right smack dab in the middle of town, with an ocean view and lots of sunscreen. The CA seals migrate and give birth to their young on the Children's beach, the circular shaped one in the pictures below. The city protects them and allows the locals to view from afar, very cool! I love Southern California!

From the lovely Beach to Hiking to Kayaking, it has it all! I highly recommend a trip to this slice of hidden beach.

Meet RuRu

Indy is a 15 year old Lab mutt from the Orange County animal shelter. I had wanted a dog for a very long time and I had a friend that worked at the shelter so she was looking out for me. I happened to be in Taiwan on tour when I got a mysterious message (before cell phones) that I had a puppy waiting for me when I got home. My friend saw her come in and knew she was for me. She was awkward and hyper but had these huge cute ears.So once I got home, I rushed to the shelter to officially adopt her and the rest is hostory! She is my best friend, loyal companion and grows on everyone she meets :) She is now very old and tired but still following me from room to room. I will appreciate her while I have her and always smile when I think of her. Here she is!
